CyMeda Expands Engineering, Manufacturing, and Excimer Laser Support with New Corporate Headquarters

CARLSBAD, Calif. — July 10, 2026 — CyMeda today announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters at 3280 Grey Hawk Court, Carlsbad, California, significantly expanding the company's engineering, manufacturing, service, and commercialization capabilities for advanced medical devices.

The new 8,100+ ft² facility integrates research and development, engineering, manufacturing, quality systems, and corporate operations under one roof. Purpose-built to support the complete medical device lifecycle, the headquarters features two hardwall cleanrooms (650 ft² and 170 ft²), wet laboratories, optical and electronics laboratories, engineering workspaces, manufacturing operations, inventory, and administrative offices.

The new headquarters serves as CyMeda's engineering, manufacturing, and technical support center for the Pharos™ Excimer Laser, providing comprehensive replacement parts, field service, refurbishment, technical support, and ongoing engineering expertise. The facility also supports continued development of next-generation laser technologies and customer-specific engineering programs.

Originally developed by Ra Medical Systems, the Pharos™ Excimer Laser continues to be supported by many of the engineers and technical specialists who helped design, develop, manufacture, and support the original platform. This continuity provides customers with direct access to decades of institutional knowledge and technical expertise, helping ensure reliable long-term product support and exceptional customer service.
